Fassi crane service and repair

Bring your Fassi knuckle boom crane to the shop at 906 West Gore St in Orlando, or call first and tell us what it is doing.

We have repaired cranes and the trucks under them at 906 West Gore St since 1989, and we work on every make of knuckle boom crane that comes through the door.

What comes in most

  • Leaking or drifting cylinders: lift, fold, extension, jib, slewing and stabilizer cylinders resealed or rebuilt
  • Stabilizers that creep, will not stow or leak down: holding valves, cylinders, legs and hoses
  • Extensions that stick, chatter or sag: slide pads replaced and the extensions shimmed back into line
  • Rotation play or noise: slewing cylinders, rack and pinion or slewing ring wear, column bushings
  • Control problems: control valve leaks, sticking sections, handles, linkages and top seat controls
  • Radio remote and safety system faults: receivers, transmitters, switches, sensors and wiring traced and repaired
  • Worn joints: pins and bushings at the boom joints and the jib

The truck under the crane

A tired PTO, a weak pump, low engine speed or a cracked frame all show up as a crane that will not do what it used to. We repair diesel trucks in the same shop, so a crane problem that turns out to be a truck problem is fixed in one visit.

Need a part for a Fassi crane?

Read us the model and serial number off the crane's plate, add the part number or a photograph, and we will find the part and quote it, new or used.

Getting it looked at

Call (877) 697-6272 and describe what the crane is doing. Have the model and serial number ready if you can, and send a photograph if the fault is visible. Most of the time we can tell you on the phone whether it is a part, a rebuild or a shop visit. The parts themselves are on the Fassi crane parts page.

What we do not do

We do not do factory warranty work on a new crane; that goes through the manufacturer's dealer network. Anything we repair is quoted before the work starts.

Before you buy a used Fassi crane

We inspect and repair cranes for a living, so we look at a used crane the way a buyer should: the cylinders, the extensions and slide pads, the joints, the rotation, the stabilizers, the controls and the truck under it. If you are buying a used Fassi crane or crane truck from someone else, we can look it over first. Used cranes and crane trucks we have for sale are listed at drywallcranes.com.
